Elia Vitadamo
Elia Vitadamo is a World-Bridger. She serves as a bridge between the abstract and the practical, a translator of worlds, understanding how to link different concepts together and making people feel safe, grounded, and understood on their journeys of self-development and healing.
Elia Vitadamo is the co-founder and creative producer of Amenti MoveMeant and one of the teachers who focuses on the theoretical aspects of the method.
Elia has been dancing since age four and was taught in many different dance forms. Thus, she also understands movement and the body in-depth through her long dance history.
She grew up in a household in which she was confronted with the lack of good general mental health care and its effect on the people around her. These aspects made her a critical thinker and a rebel longing for societal change. As a teenager, she felt a deep connection to Punk culture and the way this culture approached change, anti-racism, decolonial thinking, and empathizing with marginalized groups. Through Amenti, she created a foundation for the method and art Amenti creates to bloom.
Besides movement, Elia has gained techniques in meditation and guided visualizations and uses her voice to guide people through their inner world. Words are a way for Elia to connect in many ways; that’s why another way of expressing her ideas is manifested through writing in different forms.
