We decided that this was the perfect time to set foot on the land where our name comes from. Because by remembering we will give ourselves permission to look past the current situation and regain hope for the future. We see that it happened before, we see that we have the ability to break the pattern.

Gil and Elia journeyed in Kemet from Caïro to Luxor to visit the great Pyramids of Giza, Valley of the Kings, Temple Hatshepsut, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple. We encountered the people that now inhabit the land and gained more understanding about how the people live, what impact tourism has on the people and the land, and how there is magic in all places. We found new ideas for future manifests and hope to insights we got through our own, but ancient, medicine.

The Origin of the name Amenti lies in Kemet. The Halls of Amenti was - a place- where people would come when nearing the end of their days to take a test, lasting three days, where they had to face their biggest fears. A place between life, death and reincarnation. When a person would pass the assignment in the Halls of Amenti she or he could ascend to the next life/dimension/gate. Linked to the Mystery schools of Ancient Kemet.
